La Salle Technova Barcelona, La Salle-URL’s innovation park, has kicked off the celebrations of its 25th anniversary with the X-Mas Toast DemoDay. The event is held every year with the participation of all partners and most of the startups, with the aim of taking stock of the year and wishing one another a Merry Christmas. In this context, this year’s edition marked the beginning of the celebrations of the innovation park’s 25th anniversary.
The event was held in the Graduation Hall and the campus restaurant and allowed the La Salle Technova community to review ongoing projects and highlight the importance of continuing to promote the transfer of technology-based entrepreneurship and to act as a hub connecting startups, investors and corporations within the framework of an entrepreneurial university. In addition to the invited startups, speakers included Josep M. Piqué, Executive President of La Salle Technova; Chris Kennett, Dean of the International School of Commerce and Digital Economy; Carmen Adán, Manager of La Salle Technova; and Tiago de Abreu, Open Innovation Specialist at La Salle Technova.
Throughout 2026, commemorative activities aligned with La Salle Technova’s mission and strategic objectives will be promoted. Under the motto Accelerating innovation, the 25th anniversary celebrations will become an opportunity to strengthen its identity, showcase its impact and project its future as an innovation ecosystem.
