The prestigious Impact Ranking, published by Times Higher Education, recognizes the efforts of Ramon Llull University, of which La Salle Campus Barcelona is a founding member, in the field of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On this occasion, URL stands out by maintaining its shared leadership as the top Catalan university in SDG 8: ‘Decent Work and Economic Growth’, ranking within the 301–400 range worldwide. Additionally, URL is positioned within the 601–800 bracket of the world’s top universities, out of a total of 2,526 universities from 130 countries.

Moreover, URL also ranks highly in SDG 13: ‘Climate Action’ (201–300 globally) and SDG 10: ‘Reduced Inequalities’ (401–600 globally), further standing out in the areas of sustainability and climate action.

These strong results are the outcome of the work carried out by the institutions that make up Ramon Llull University, coordinated by the Commission for the Promotion of the 2030 Agenda and the Decarbonization Working Group. In this context, La Salle Campus Barcelona is actively engaged across multiple areas and through specific actions to minimize its carbon footprint, contribute to the SDGs, and play an active role in building a more sustainable society.
