Nestlé and La Salle-URL award scholarships to master's students in Data Science and Technological Management and Digital Innovation

Nicolás Pérez, Martha Tarantino, Marc Ros, and Luis Matías Miguez receive their Nestlé scholarships at a ceremony held on campus

La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of Universitat Ramon Llull, has awarded the Nestlé scholarships, jointly supported by Nestlé Global IT Hub, which provides IT services to Nestlé, a leading company in nutrition, health, and wellness. The aim of these scholarships is to enhance talent and support students who want to specialize in areas related to data analysis and business.

The scholarship recipients are Nicolás Pérez and Martha Tarantino, from the Master's in Data Science, and Marc Ros and Luis Matías Miguez, from the Master's in Technological Management and Digital Innovation. Both programs are offered by the International Faculty of Commerce and Digital Economy (FICEDLS). The award ceremony was attended by Josep M. Santos, General Director of La Salle-URL; Ana Ochoa, Global IT Barcelona Hub Manager at Nestlé; Guiomar Corral, Director of the Engineering School at La Salle-URL; and Chris Kennett, Dean of FICEDLS. Also present were the coordinators of the master's programs, friends and family of the students, and campus staff.

In the words of Josep M. Santos, General Director of La Salle-URL: "We want to congratulate the students for receiving this scholarship and thank Nestlé, a member of our Business Council, for its involvement in protecting a mechanism to promote talent." Ana Ochoa, Global IT Barcelona Hub Manager at Nestlé, stated: "Education and training are key for young people to adapt to the future. We are delighted to collaborate with La Salle-URL to generate talent and contribute to society through various programs and initiatives."

Through these scholarships, Nestlé and La Salle-URL work together to train professionals in various growing sectors. Therefore, the education of young talent is crucial for future professionals to face new social challenges with ethical values and global competencies.
