La Salle Campus Barcelona - Universitat Ramon Llull begins the 2022-2023 academic year with nearly 800 new undergraduate students, the highest figure in history. All of them were able to participate at the beginning of the month, a week before the start of classes, in the Welcome Week, in which they are welcomed to the Campus with a series of activities to meet new classmates, teachers and educators, and become familiar with the classes, laboratories and all the facilities of the Campus.

The Welcome Week also served to present this year's motto, 'Better Together', which invites all members of La Salle Campus Barcelona to live one of the key Lasallian values: fraternity, the essence of a rich, passionate, diverse community. and engaged. The motto also connects with the joy of having been able to start the academic year with absolute normality and with the certainty that the La Salle Campus Barcelona community continues to grow.

In fact, the 22-23 academic year presents two novelties with the incorporation of two new areas of knowledge that enrich the transversality of the Campus on the two pieces that give meaning to its studies: technology and humanism. On the one hand, La Salle-URL integrates the Faculty of Philosophy and its degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics into its ecosystem of knowledge. In addition, the new degree in Health Engineering, launched jointly with Blanquerna-URL, comes to respond to some of the current challenges in healthcare: personalized medicine, healthy aging and digital transformation.

On the other hand, the 21-22 academic year closed for the first time with more than 5,000 students on the Campus, a record that supports the continued growth of La Salle-URL as a benchmark university center with an international profile, since during the academic year students of about 80 different nationalities coexisted.
