The QS World University Ranking by Subject, one of the most prestigious league tables for the best universities in the world, has placed La Salle-URL’s programmes 11th best in Spain in the Computer Science & Information section. Furthermore, it has also placed in the 551-600 range globally for studies in the field.
Ramon Llull University, of which La Salle Campus Barcelona is a founding member, has also been ranked among the best universities in the world for Business & Management and Tourism & Hotel Management. URL managed to rank 118th best in the Social Sciences & Management field.
The QS Ranking is one of the most important and internationally respected university league tables among the educational community, and it measures the teaching excellence of more than 1,300 educational institutions worldwide. The list analyses studies from 48 different disciplines divided into 5 knowledge areas.
The QS World University Ranking by Subject compiles the ranking of the best universities based on four criteria: the results of a reputation survey of academics worldwide, a reputation survey of employers, the number of citations in scientific publications and the H-index, which measures scientific quality.
