La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull is strengthening its international profile and consolidating its global network of partnerships, while opening up new opportunities for academic collaboration through its participation in the EAIE Conference and Exhibition 2026, held in Glasgow, one of the leading international events in higher education. The conference provides opportunities for the university community to connect with universities around the world, explore new forms of collaboration and enrich their academic experience from a global perspective.
The La Salle-URL delegation was made up of Nina Hofmann, Head of the General Management Office and External Relations; Víctor Alves, Head of International Relations; Alice Gravelle, Coordinator of Mobility Agreements; and Andrea Delgado Baz, International Relations Manager. During the conference, around 60 bilateral meetings were held with universities and higher education institutions from around the world. These included several partner universities such as the University of Hong Kong, the University of Ottawa, Adelaide University, LUISS University, Koç University, Tilburg University and Hong Kong Metropolitan University.
The meetings helped advance agreements on student exchanges, double degrees, summer programmes, Erasmus+ cooperation, staff mobility and study tours, as well as new collaborations in fields such as business, computer science, data science and artificial intelligence. One of the key agreements was the formalisation of a Memorandum of Understanding and a Student Exchange Agreement with BINUS University (Indonesia), opening up new opportunities for student mobility and academic collaboration between the two institutions.
