La Salle Campus Barcelona consolidates its network of alliances with universities in the Asia-Pacific region

Campus representatives visit universities in Hong Kong and Shanghai and attend the APAIE conference in New Delhi

Academic and institutional representatives from La Salle Campus Barcelona, ​​a founding member of Universitat Ramon Llull, traveled to the Asia-Pacific region to build and strengthen collaborative relationships with various university centers, as well as attend the APAIE 2025 fair in New Delhi.

The trip is part of La Salle-URL's internationalization strategy to foster student development in global competencies and encourage exchanges and internships for students and faculty. Representing the campus were Nina Hofmann, Head of Institutional Relations, and Víctor Alves, Senior International Relations Officer.

During a trip designed to strengthen La Salle-URL's position in the region and seek new collaborations, with a special focus on Hong Kong and Shanghai as two epicenters of technological innovation and academic excellence, the following universities were visited:

  • City University of Hong Kong
  • Lingnan University
  • Hang Seng University of Hong Kong
  • Nanjing University of Finance and Economics
  • Fudan University
  • East China University of Political Science and Law

In addition, between March 24 and 27, the campus was present at APAIE | Asia-Pacific Association for International Education, the most important higher education fair in the Asia-Pacific region. Within the framework of the conference, campus representatives attended several institutional receptions, including one organized by the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) at the Spanish Embassy in Delhi, as well as those offered by Australian universities and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, a member of the Strategic Alliance of Catholic Research Universities (SACRU), of which the Universitat Ramon Llull is a member. As part of the Catalan delegation, La Salle-URL also participated in the reception organized at the "Study in Catalonia" stand, a key event for the international projection of Catalan universities.

The trip concluded with several successful meetings and the opportunity to establish agreements with new university partners, strengthen strategic alliances, explore new collaboration opportunities, and discuss key trends in internationalization.
