This subject teach students WAN technologies which allow the interconnection between worldwide networks, main networks and access networks, as the design of global networks within heterogenic environments applying Quality of Service (QoS) technology that permits the integration of all kind of services.

Objectives

- Know well the concepts of access network and transport network, its architecture and deployment.
- Know and apply correctly the technologies to interconnect LAN and WAN networks with Quality of Service (QoS)
- Know well the TCP/IP environment and its implementation, protocol functioning and configuration for the interconnection with networks in every level.
- Design correctly a WAN network in a "Cloud" environment.
