The European Open Innovation NIR-VANA project launches new technological platform

La Salle participates in the European Open Innovation NIR-VANA project which aims to develop online services that help small and medium-sized businesses innovate together with external partners.

NIR-VANA is based on the premise that the ideas and technologies that generate new products and processes arise from the collaboration with different actors throughout the value chain.

La Salle-URL develops the online platform that aims to be the training base in concepts of innovation, as well as face-to-face training in different project events throughout Europe. The new platform version (https://platform.nir-vana.eu) has just been released, where innovation advisers provide services to SMEs throughout the innovation process and SMEs can collaborate, co-organize and co-participate with other companies, experts and researchers from all over Europe.

The ability to work in common with other companies, customers, suppliers, distributors, marketers, users and researchers following the approach of open or collaborative innovation is the key factor that allows a well-established system of management of innovation. Currently, innovation support services are inadequate and for this reason NIR-VANA develops a training-based online solution that will not only consider new and existing technologies and platforms, but also take into account the culture of innovation in SMEs and its preparation for ICT.
