On Monday, June 21st, at 11. a.m., the thesis reading of the doctoral student Jaume Llopis will take place in the “Sala de Graus”, at La Salle Campus Barcelona, entitled “The general management in the era of hyperconnectivity: the new coordinates” which has been carried out under the direction of Dr. August Climent and Dr. José Daniel Barquero, being Dr. Francesc Miralles his tutor. The doctoral student is part of the GREITM - Entrepreneurship Management & Innovation Research Group of La Salle Campus Barcelona.
The thesis, which can be followed only in person, focuses its contributions on the study on how the changes in the competitive environment and those that the organizations themselves, in turn, have undertaken to adapt to them are reconfiguring the roles and tasks carried out by managers and, particularly, by senior management. To carry out this analysis the student has combined theoretical research, based on the analysis of recent literature, with empirical research, based on fieldwork carried out on a representative sample of 52 senior managers.
The tribunal is made up by Dr David Riu Vila, Joan Enric Ricard Costa, and Alfredo Rocafort Nicolau.
