On Wednesday, October 26th, starting at 11:30 a.m., the thesis reading of the doctoral student Alia Besné Yanguas will take place in the Sala de Graus of La Salle Campus Barcelona, entitled “Analysis of the difficulties of integrating BIM technology and methodology in AEC grades”, which has been carried out under the direction of Dr. David Fonseca Escudero and Dr. Albert Sánchez Riera. The doctoral student is part of GRETEL - Group of Research in Technology Enhanced Learning of La Salle Campus Barcelona.
The thesis focuses its contributions on the teaching of BIM credits in all Spanish universities that offer Architecture and Technical Architecture and Building degrees, in order to analyze common needs and problems. The problems encountered lead to a study of the world situation, at a broader and global level, to check if there are regulated bases that universities can use. A specific BIM implementation design is also carried out for the specific case of the Ramon Llull University (URL), in the degrees of Architecture and Technical Architecture and Building of the Escuela Técnica-Superior de Arquitectura La Salle (ETSALS). It details the processes, strategies and issues that have been carried out in the development of the same for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021), which affect the entire curriculum.
The tribunal is made up by the president Lluís Giménez Mateu, the secretary Maria Luisa Sein Echaluce Lacleta and the member Angel Fidalgo Blanco.
