Description
The results that are expected from this subject are to develop the knowledge and the skills of the students in the area of the human resources. The propose is to try to think about the person in the work world, as well as to present and analyze the base of Human Resources' Policies, and develop the capacities to be able to identify the problems that people management could generate. The students, future managers of company, will be able to develop their personal and managerial skills.

Objectives

The students who deal the subject acquire the knowledge and develop the skills that are following indicated:

1. To learn of reflexive form the fundamental concepts in the direction and management of the human resources.

2. To think, present and to analyze the principal concepts of Human Resources' policies.

3. To work in team study cases that helps them to think over on different situations inside the area of the Human Resources, as well as the useful of the managerial skills necessary for managing the aims.

4. To help the development of skills of analysis and synthesis of the situations of the area of management of the human resources.

5. To learn to present cases communicating correctly the essence of the issue.

6. To learn different skills to manage and to work in team to learn and manage negotiation, motivation and communication.

7. To facilitate the self-knowledge and the orientation of the professional future of the student.

Methodology

Theoretical classes and practical classes were realized to reinforce the exposed concepts.

The course consists of participative classes, working study cases in class, complementary readings delivered and team work.

The methods of evaluation used in the subject are:

Criteria that are used to evaluate the results obtained by the student:

- Assistance: in the case of class assistance students we take in account the lists of assistance.

C. Tests Control: During the meetings and under the criteria of the teacher, the student will answer small test, rapidly of answering about the topics treated in classes.

D/F Homework and work in team: study cases will be delivered to be solved in team and also a final project about an experience inside the area of the human resources.

J. Participation in class. Evaluation of the teacher: there will be taken on account the participation, the voluntary cases, participation in forums, other contributions, etc...

Evaluation Criteria

Objective 1:

- The student must demonstrate that they have learned the fundamental concepts of the areas of: Human Resources and development of managerial skills [C, D, F].

Objective 2:

- With the work of class the student has to think, present and analyze the basic concepts of Human Resources´ policies and the skills necessary for their attainment, demonstrating to know the application of knowledge in the practice [D, F].

Objective 3:

- With the teamwork and analyzing cases the student thinks about different situations inside the area of the Human Resources and practice of the managerial skills necessary for managing the aims [D, F, J].

Objective 4:

- Acquisition of the capacity of analysis and synthesis of situations raised inside the area of management of the human resources [D, F, J].

Objective 5:

- The student must learn to present the works and cases reports efficiently [D, F, J].

Objective 6:

- The student must understand the different existing skills to manage and to be employed at group, to lead, to negotiate, to motivate, to communicate … [C, D, F, J].

- The student must develop the aptitude to know their possibilities of professional development according to their capacities and to design their own development plan. [D, F, J].
