The Corporate Board Council of La Salle Campus Barcelona holds its third annual council

The Corporate Board Council of La Salle Campus Barcelona has held its third annual council in the Congress Hall of the campus. During the meeting, an assessment of the first year of the CBC and all the achievements achieved in these months was taken. Likewise, the development of the various axes and projects has been reviewed and seven new members have been welcomed: SIRT, Danone, Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), Cardoner, Lavinia, Blackfish / 16nou and SEAT:CODE.

The growth of the Corporate Board Council in one year is evident: in September 2022 it was established with 15 founding members and now there are 28 companies, foundations and institutions that comprise it. The project not only grows in the number of associates but, in turn, evolves in all its initiatives. During the annual council, the composition of the different bodies and commissions of the CBC was reviewed, the success of CBC News as the main communication channel of the CBC was discussed, and all the representatives of the member companies took part to confirm their commitment to the project.

The members of the CBC have been able to learn how La Salle-URL is growing with new spaces and already has more than 6,000 students, 32% of whom are international of 96 nationalities, and that one of the members of the campus, Josep Maria Garrell, is the new President of the European University Association (EUA). During the meeting, the status of the CBC projects was reviewed before each of the members explained their active participation in the axes of which they are a part. Attendees have highly valued the progress and opportunities that have arisen as a result of the constitution of the La Salle Campus Barcelona Corporate Board Council, remembering that they continue to work together in the development of entrepreneurship and economic-social cooperation to positively impact society.
