Congratulations, master's graduates!

La Salle-URL celebrates the graduation ceremonies of the masters in the areas of Architecture, Engineering and Business & Management

La Salle Campus Barcelona, founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull, has celebrated the Graduation Ceremony of the 2023-2024 master’s and postgraduate students. The celebration, which took place in the Sala de Congressos on campus, was divided into two events: one that brought together the Architecture and Engineering programs, and a second with the Business & Management masters. In total, almost 1,000 master's and postgraduate students have enrolled and successfully completed their studies in the various programs offered by the campus.

The General Director of La Salle Campus Barcelona, ​​Josep M. Santos, addressed the two graduation ceremonies, in which he congratulated the students and encouraged them to work to make a better world: "You graduate with more knowledge, with more tools and also with enhanced capabilities. You have consolidated some values ​​on campus that should help you to be part of building the best of all possible worlds. Another society, better and more sustainable, is possible and we must forge it among all of us. Because together, everything is always better. It's time to take care of ourselves and create together."

The first act, for Architecture and Engineering students

The first event brought together 190 master's and postgraduate students from the areas of Architecture, taught by the La Salle Technical School of Architecture (ETSALS), and Engineering, taught by the La Salle Digital Engineering School (ETSELS). More than 400 companions also attended in person, and many more followed the event via streaming.

The godfather of the promotion was Jaume Obiols, co-founder of Blackfish and member of the Business Council of La Salle Campus Barcelona, ​​who highlighted the values ​​that the campus transmits to its students: "At La Salle-URL they gave me all the training and the values ​​that have allowed me to develop my professional career successfully. Persistence and the desire to overcome are two of them, and others are security, the spirit of sacrifice and the ability to find a way out of the challenges that arise".

The event was attended by the Vice-Rector of Organization and Academic Quality of the URL, Elisabet Golobardes; the Director of ETSELS, Guiomar Corral; the Deputy Director of ETSALS, Jordi Mansilla; in addition to professors and coordinators of the master's programs, representatives of the professional associations of the areas and other personalities of the campus.

Business & Management, protagonists of the second act

In the second event, 270 students graduated from the postgraduate programs in Business & Management, taught by the International La Salle International School of Commerce and Digital Economy (FICEDLS). More than 600 people accompanied the graduates and many other students, with their relatives and acquaintances, enjoyed the streaming event.

In this event, the godfather of the promotion was Ignasi Cots, General Manager of Cardoner Group and also a member of the Corporate Board Council, who congratulated and encouraged the graduates in the face of the challenges of the future: "It is clear that the effort and believing in yourself has its rewards. You too have achieved it and will achieve it in the business world".

Master's degree coordinators, professors and other campus personalities were present at the ceremony to participate in the awarding of scholarships and accompany the students, who have completed their academic and personal training stage and are already part of the network and history of La Salle Campus Barcelona.
