Congratulations, master's graduates!

La Salle-URL has celebrated the promotion of master's and postgraduate students of the 22-23 academic year. The celebration, which took place on October 17 at La Salle Bonanova Theater, was divided into two events: one that brought together the Engineering and Architecture programs, and a second with all the Business & Management masters. The graduation ceremonies were the culmination of the academic and personal training stage of many of the La Salle-URL students, who are already part of the network and history of La Salle Campus Barcelona.

Architecture and Engineering, protagonists of the first event

In the first of the events, around 130 students from some of the master's degrees in Architecture taught by the School of Architecture La Salle-URL (ETSALS) were recognized. More than 150 students from some of the postgraduate and master's degrees in Engineering, taught by the School of Engineering La Salle-URL (ETSELS), were also congratulated.

The godfather of the promotion was Ramon Pastor, Vice President of HP and Global Head of 3D Printing Metals, who encouraged the graduates to do their job well and know how to relate, while reminding them of the key role of communication and that "the work done is very important, but it is also important how it is done and why it is done." The General Director of La Salle-URL, Josep M. Santos, and the Vice Rector for Organization and Academic Quality of the URL, Elisabet Golobardes, also congratulated the graduates with their speeches;

The event was attended by the director of the ETSELS, Guiomar Corral, and the Deputy Director of the ETSALS, Jordi Mansilla. Nearly 400 family members and friends accompanied the graduates of the Architecture and Engineering master's degrees, as well as professors and program coordinators, representatives of the professional associations of the fields and other personalities from the campus and the Ramon Llull University.

Students from Business & Management programs also graduate

In the second of the events, some 250 students graduated from the Business & Management postgraduate programs, taught by the International Faculty of Commerce and Digital Economy La Salle-URL (FICEDLS).

In this second event, the godfather of the promotion was Francisco Gibert, Partner Responsible for KPMG for Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Andorra, who encouraged the students to be "motivated by challenges and take advantage of opportunities with effort and a constructive attitude" and noted that they are united by "technology and innovation." The Rector of the URL, Josep Rom, and the General Director of La Salle-URL, Josep M. Santos, also addressed the students to congratulate them and remind them that La Salle-URL will be their home.

The Dean of FICEDLS, Chris Kennett, was part of the group of personalities who accompanied the graduates. Also present were some 600 companions, managers and professors from all the master's degrees, educators and campus staff, as well as Carles Puig de Travy, Dean of the College of Economists of Catalonia, an entity with which FICEDLS recently signed a collaboration agreement.
