At La Salle, we put people first, and our Scholarship programme makes it possible for young talented people to study with us, regardless of their financial situation or their family, geographical or cultural background.

Our objective is to provide access to our programmes to all candidates who have the right pre-requisites and who get through the Admission Process. We will treat each application individually to ensure that as many students as possible receive the financial aid they require to enrol on our programmes.

During the academic year 2022-2023 La Salle Campus Barcelona has allocated more than 3.5 million euros in scholarships and grants for all undergraduate students and 48% of new students have received scholarships. A total of 375 scholarships have been awarded.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NEW UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Academic Merit

Academic Excellence Scholarship

Aimed at:candidates with outstanding Spanish baccalaureate results, CFGS (Higher Vocational Training Courses) or equivalent studies recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocal Training with honours.

Amount 70% on tuition fees for the first year. Scholarships covering of between 20% and 70% on tuition fees are available for 2nd-year students. The amount awarded depends on household income and the academic performance criteria of the chosen degree programme.


Academic Record Scholarship

Aimed at:undergraduate students with a final mark of 8.0 or higher in Spanish Baccalaureate, CFGS or other equivalent studies recognised by the Ministry of Education and Vocal Training.

Amount:50% of tuition fees of the first academic year. From the 2nd year, the scholarship may be between 20% and 50% of the tuition fees conditioned by the notes according to the program and family income.

Nº of Scholarships: limited to 15% of the available spots. Scholarships will be granted in order of request and payment of place reservation.


IB Scholarship

Aimed at:candidates from the IB Diploma Programme, whose final score is 35 points or higher.

Amountdepending on the score obtained: · Between 35 and 41 points: 50% of tuition fees. · Between 42 and 45 points: 70% of tuition fees. From the 2nd year of study onwards, the scholarship covers between 20% and 50% of tuition fees, depending on the programme and household income.


International Academic Excellence Scholarships

Aimed at: International candidates with studies equivalent to Spanish baccalaureate with a final mark of 9 or higher. This scholarship is subject to academic assessment, a videocurriculum, household income and a personal interview.

Amountendowed with 70% of the tuition fees for the 1st academic year. From the second year on, the scholarship may be between 20% and 70% of the tuition fees, according to the household income, the academic performance and the program.

Nº of Scholarships:5 scholarships.


International Scholarship

Aimed at:International candidates with studies equivalent to Spanish baccalaureate or university studies with a final mark of 7.0 or higher. This scholarship is subject to academic assessment, to the assessment of a videocurriculum, to the family situation and a personal interview.

Amount:between 10% and 50% of the tuition fees.

Nº of Scholarships:15 scholarships.


La Salle Women Engineers Scholarship

Aimed at:female students on any Engineering Degree with a strong academic record, with a final mark of 7.0 or higher. The Scholarship is subject to academic assessment, to a personal interview and to the assessment of a videocurriculum in which extracurricular activities related to engineering and the motivation for this will be considered.

Amount30% of tuition fees for the 1st year. Students who maintain these high academic standards in the 2nd year can continue to benefit from this Scholarship. In the case that the marks are lower, the Scholarship will be 20%

Be a Leader

Aimed at candidates with a final high school grade (or equivalent studies) equal to or higher than 7. The grant of the scholarship is subject to the academic assessment and a personal interview, and the assessment of a video curriculum2 in which the activities related to each area will be taken into account:

Activities to be assessed: volunteering and leadership-related activities will be considered.

Amount:this scholarship is endowed with 30% of the cost of tuition for the 1st year. From the 2nd year onwards, the scholarship may be maintained if the student maintains a remarkable academic record..

Be an Artist Scholarship

Activities to be assessed:the activities related to their participation and creation in the artistic field will be taken into account: Festivals, awards, exhibitions, etc.

Amount: this scholarship is endowed with 30% of the cost of tuition for the 1st year. From the 2nd year onwards, the scholarship may be maintained if the student maintains a remarkable academic record.

Nº of Scholarships:5 scholarships in Digital Arts and Animation Degrees.


Be an Architect Scholarship

Activities to be assessed:the activities related to their participation and creation in the architectural and artistic field will be taken into account: Competitions - awards - exhibitions.

Amount:this scholarship is endowed with 30% of the cost of tuition for the 1st year. From the 2nd year onwards, the scholarship may be maintained if the student maintains a remarkable academic record.

Nº of Scholarships:5 scholarships in Architecture Degrees.


Be an Engineer Scholarship

Activities to be assessed:the activities related to their participation and creation in the field of engineering will be taken into account, such as the topic developed in their High School final project, participation in contests, competitions or personal projects.

Amount:this scholarship is endowed with 30% of the cost of tuition for the 1st year. From the 2nd year onwards, the scholarship may be maintained if the student maintains a remarkable academic record.

Nº of Scholarships:5 scholarship Engineering Degrees.


Be a Health Engineer

Activities to be assessed:activities related to their participation in volunteer work and in technological or health projects to improve people's quality of life.

Amount:this scholarship is endowed with 30% of the cost of tuition for the 1st year. From the 2nd year onwards, the scholarship may be maintained if the student maintains a remarkable academic record.

Nº of Scholarships:5 scholarships in Biomedical engineer Degrees.


Be a Philosopher

Aimed at:activities related to the philosophical and humanistic field, such as literary contests or debate clubs.

Amount:this scholarship is endowed with 30% of the cost of tuition for the 1st year. From the 2nd year onwards, the scholarship may be maintained if the student maintains a remarkable academic record.

Nº of Scholarships:5 scholarships in Philosophy and Humanity Degrees.

La Salle Schools

La Salle Schools Scholarship

Aimed at:candidates from La Salle institutions from around the world, excluding La Salle Universities.

Amount:10% of the tuition fees.

Collaboration Grant

Departmental Scholarships

Aimed at:students at La Salle University who have already completed 50% of their Undergraduate Degree credits, with a good academic record that collaborate in projects or teaching in the different departments of the Campus completing their training.

Amount:determined by the number of hours worked.

Economic Support

La Salle Economic Scholarship

Aimed at: candidates with a strong academic record and/or personal merits who do not have enough financial resources to study at our University.

Amount: between 10% and 50% of the tuition fees. The scholarship will be for the first academic year and will be reviewed every year.


Mobility Scholarships

Aimed at:candidatos/as nacionales que vivan a una distancia superior a los 50 km de Barcelona y que necesiten una ayuda para trasladarse, al no disponer de recursos económicos suficientes.

Amount:30% of the tuition fees.
