Accenture, a multinational strategic consulting and technology services company, and La Salle-URL, an international university center with seven areas of knowledge, are joining forces to work together to deploy new projects and initiatives related to technology and digitalization. Both institutions sign a collaboration agreement within the framework of the Corporate Board Council (CBC), the business council of La Salle Campus Barcelona, which works to promote the development of entrepreneurship and economic-social cooperation.
Alex Borrell, Managing Director Insurance Lead for Iberia (Spain, Portgual and Israel) at Accenture, and Josep M. Santos, General Director of La Salle-URL, have signed the agreement at the offices of the technological multinational in Barcelona and have talked about the many possibilities of collaboration that arise as a result of this agreement. Institutional representatives from Accenture and La Salle-URL participated in the meeting and toured together the Barcelona Innovation Center, the space where Accenture works with its clients to direct their digital efforts strategically.
During the meeting, beyond the signing and the visit to the facilities, they discussed the challenges and objectives of the Corporate Board Council of La Salle Campus Barcelona and three students of Engineering degrees at La Salle-URL who are carrying out an internship at Accenture were able to share their experiences at the university and the company.
