Cars are high price high implication goods with unique characteristics from the sales point of view and eventually with long delivery times. SEAT, as a car manufacturer is willing to meet customer requirements while shortening the expected delivery times, so that the perceived quality of service improves. This study aims at how to make a customer oriented supply chain to both to match the customer preferences and shorten delivery times, much inspired in the ‘Anticipatory Shipping’ method. For this, the project studies the complexity of SEAT’s car offering and the possibilities of acting in the manufacturing process, forecasts the sales of the company, studies the customer preferences through the Car Configurator website and provides a shipping policy according to the best selling probability.
