The Universitat Ramon Llull (URL) is positioned as the 59th university in Europe for the U-Multirank, a university ranking promoted by the European Commission. Compared to the previous edition, the URL climbs 17 positions and passes, in two years, from the top 100 to the top 60 of the best European universities. The URL, of which La Salle-URL is one of its founding members, appears in 5th position in Spain and is 4th in the Catalan university system.

The U-Multirank evaluates university centers based on 40 indicators grouped into five dimensions: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and contribution to regional development. This year, the ranking has studied the performance of 2202 universities from 96 countries. The indicators have five possible scores: A (very good), B (good), C (medium), D (below average), and E (weak).

Of all the indicators, the URL obtained in this year's edition 13 with the highest score (A) and 12 with a good score (B). The Universitat Ramon Llull stands out in the international orientation dimension, with two indicators with very good scores (mobility of international students and academic staff) and four more with scores above the average (bachelor's programs in a foreign language, master's programs in a foreign language, international doctoral programs and international publications). Similarly, the URL achieves very positive results in the dimension of contribution to regional development.

In addition to the general ranking of universities, the U-Multirank also analyzes universities by fields of knowledge. Each edition analyzes specific areas and, in this year's edition, some of the degrees evaluated are Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering, both taught by La Salle-URL. The general and specific results can be consulted on the U-Multirank website.
