The Ramon Llull University (URL), of which La Salle-URL is a founding member, classifies in the prestigious QS World University Ranking 2024, ranking 621-630 among the most outstanding universities in the world. Therefore, the URL improves its position compared to previous editions and is among the 20 best ranked universities in Spain as a whole and among the top five in Catalonia.
The current edition of the ranking, the twentieth, has evaluated the educational excellence of nearly 1,500 university institutions from more than a hundred countries around the world. In this year's ranking, the QS World University Rankings incorporates new evaluation criteria, giving increasing weight to aspects such as sustainability, employability and research collaborations, which are measured through three new indicators. In total, there are nine indicators used to score universities:
- Academic reputation
- Citations per faculty
- Employer reputation
- Faculty student ratio
- International student ratio
- International faculty ratio
- International research network
- Employment outcomes
- Sustainability
