The Ramon Llull University (URL), of which La Salle-URL is one of its founding members, is once again classified among the best universities in the world in employability according to the Global Employability University Ranking (GEURS), which evaluates the capacity of university centers to prepare their graduates for the labor market. The URL improves eleven positions compared to last year's ranking, ranking 167th in the world. Already in the previous edition, the university improved its results, rising more than 50 positions.
In addition, URL is one of the eight Spanish universities that are classified in the 2024 edition of GEURS, a ranking prepared by the French consulting firm Emerging and published by the magazine Times Higher Education. To prepare the classification, GEURS has based on the opinion of more than 100,000 employers from 21 different countries, responsible for hiring more than 800,000 graduates last year.
The data collected by GEURS indicates that employers are looking for graduates with digital skills, socially involved, who help transform organizations and societies. In addition, competencies closely aligned with the La Salle-URL and URL training model are especially valued, such as the ability to work in teams, collaborative spirit, leadership skills and social impact.
