Universitat Ramon Llull, of which La Salle Campus Barcelona is a founding member, improves 20 positions in the Global Employability University Ranking (GEURS), compared to last year's edition, rising from position 167 to 147. At a European level, URL occupies position 69, at a Spanish level position 7 and at a Catalan level it is 2nd ranked.
The GEURS is a global employability ranking prepared by the French consultancy Emerging and published by the Times Higher Education magazine that evaluates the universities that best prepare their graduates to enter the job market. This ranking, where only eight Spanish universities appear, has placed URL in position 147 in the world out of 250 ranked universities, improving 20 positions compared to the previous year.
In this area, La Salle-URL is one of the institutions that works to guarantee full employability of its students, with the campus employability rate standing at 98%. In addition, the close relationship with the business sector and the learning by doing learning methodology place students in a very favorable position to enter the professional world.
The GEURS is the only ranking based exclusively on the point of view of international employers and reveals which universities are considered the best for preparing students to enter the world of work according to the hiring managers of the main companies. In this year's edition, which is already the 14th, 13,240 international employers, managers and professionals from 42 countries responsible for hiring and working with young graduates were surveyed.
