La Salle Campus Barcelona will host the 2026 edition of the Urban Ecological Security and Sustainability Annual Workshop (UESS), an international event jointly organized by Suffolk University (Boston, USA) and Fudan University (Shanghai, China), two institutions of internationally recognized prestige.
During the workshop, which will run until July 24, researchers, academics, government representatives, industry professionals, and international experts will come together to discuss and exchange knowledge on the main challenges of urban ecological security and sustainability. The programme will address topics such as sustainable urban planning and design, ecological restoration, green energy, environmental analysis, and sustainable land use, fostering collaboration and the development of innovative solutions. Hosting this edition further strengthens the university's role as a hub for knowledge exchange and innovation in sustainability.
