On June 16 we will remember Alfred Bonavida, a historic professor of our Campus expert in acoustics, with the premiere of the documentary Bonavida, una vida dedicada a la ciencia.
The film has been directed by José Luis Molero, professor and alumni of La Salle-URL, and reviews Bonavida's career through the testimony of many of those who knew him, some of them members of La Salle-URL, and explores his contributions in voice analysis, audiology and speech therapy, among other subjects in which he was an expert.
The event will be introduced by Brother Josep Martí, one of the Catalan references in acoustics, and Enrique Salesa, president of the Instituto Auditivo Salesa, the two friends and co-workers of professor Bonavida for many years. The documentary (which lasts one hour) will then be screened and a meeting space will be organized with a pica-pica to share memories and experiences about the honoree.
