Summer School ends after two intense weeks of study and activities

Between July 2 and 14, 46 young people between 15 and 18 years of age participated in the La Salle-URL Summer School Barcelona 2017.

This year the Summer School has been more international than ever, in addition to studying in English, more than half of the students have been from outside Spain from countries such as Turkey, Russia, China, United States, Colombia, Holland, Switzerland , Italy and France. All of them have stayed for two weeks on the Campus, sharing moments of study and leisure.
The Summer School was divided into four courses for different areas of knowledge: Animation course, Create your character! To learn modeling techniques, animation, lighting and visual effects that are used for the production of series, application of digital visual effects and audiovisual content and video games; Be an Architect in Barcelona, ​​getting into the architecture of the City of Barcelona in a very practical way; How can I make a social robot?, learning how to make a robot feel emotions; And Business for the Future, where students learn leadership techniques, innovation, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, etc. by applying the new technologies in the business world.

In addition to the formative part, the 46 young people have shared a large number of activities, both on the campus and in the city: sports and night activities on the Campus (cinema, karaoke or night parties) and tourist visits to Barcelona where they have been able Discover the modernist architecture of the Sagrada Família and La Pedrera, Parc Güell, Carmel bunkers, Ciutadella and Montjuïc fountains, and spend the Camp Nou or spend an afternoon on the beach. They all go with a large number of friends and a memory forever. Thank you all!
