The subject is divided into character design and storyboard. The first part focuses on character creation for production, while the second part centers on the fundamental aspects of creating storyboards for advertising, film, and animation.

Objectives: 

To develop a production "Bible" that includes the complete design of a character and their visual narrative through a technically and artistically solid storyboard.

Contents: 

* Design: Reference research, sketches, expression and movement sheets, turn-around, line-up, and logo.

  • Storyboard: Types (TV, film, ads), from script to drawing, terminology (framing, camera movements), and specific software.

Methodology: 

Theoretical classes on narrative and anatomy, followed by practical digital drawing workshops and script analysis. Use of group feedback for storyboard correction.

Evaluation: 

* Character Design (40%): Sketches, color, and turn-around.

  • Final Storyboard (50%): Complete sequence with technical indications.
  • Attitude and progress (10%).
