Industrial PhD
The Government of Catalonia, from the Ministry of Economy and Knowledge, is doing actions to make our country become a Knowledge Engine (Press release). Among other actions, they are doing a campaign to promote Barcelona KEY and the Industrial PhD.
As previous ocasions, La Salle (Ramon Llull University) in its vocation to be present in cutting edge initiatives, is participating in the development of the Industrial PhD. This PhD scheme allows companies, with grants and tax subsidies from the Government, to lead in the training of new doctors.
The aim is that the industrial PhD has excellence training to meets business needs and thus helps to address the challenges of development and innovation within the current competitive environment. The outcome of the Industrial PhD is the elaboration of a doctoral thesis on a strategic project agreed by both the company and the University where they can and want to work together.
From the Innova Institute, we offer the possibility of collaborating with companies to carry out Industrial PhD in the areas of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management within the field of Information and Communication Technologies.
