Universitat Ramon Llull, of which La Salle Campus Barcelona is a founding member, has been ranked in the prestigious QS Sustainability Rankings 2025 of the QS World University Rankings. In the results, the university stands out in the Environmental Sustainability indicator, where it ranks 4th in Spain and 145th in the world, respectively. In the global ranking, URL is the 29th Spanish university in the ranking and the 1st private Catalan university. In this edition of QS, the good scores achieved by URL in the Equality indicator, in the Integration of sustainable development values into university work, and in measures for Reducing consumption and the commitment to green technologies are highlighted.
La Salle-URL is aware of the global climate context and demonstrates its commitment to sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through various lines of action. This commitment is also reflected in academic activity with the aim of generating a real impact on society. The campus is also involved in the Working Group for the Decarbonization of URL, which works on the actions defined in the Climate Action Roadmap of Universitat Ramon Llull.
Regarding the methodology of the ranking conducted by QS World University Ranking: Sustainability 2025, the categories analysed were: Environmental Impact, Social Impact, and Governance.
