Teaching activity
He has been a University Professor at La Salle Campus Barcelona- Universitat Ramon Llull since 2017, where he has been a full-time professor since 1998, teaching in the field of telecommunication systems. He was the coordinator of the Master´s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering in the period 2013-2019 and since 2019 he has coordinated the Degree in Telecommunications Systems Engineering.
Research and transfer activity
Researcher in the area of Communications belonging to the Research Group in Smart Society. His research interests focus on channel probing and modelling, the design of spread spectrum and multicarrier modulations applied to broadband HF communications and Power Line communications, as well as the design of multi-user detectors in CDMA systems. He is currently also engaged in the design of miniature antennas for IoT networks and systems. With two six-year research periods, he is the author of 40 articles in journals and more than 90 contributions in conferences. He has supervised 8 doctoral theses and more than 200 final degree projects. He has participated in numerous public and private research projects, being principal investigator in 9 of them.
Additional information
He was head of the Department of Communications and Signal Theory at Ramon Llull University (2001-2011) and head of the Research Group on Electromagnetism and Communications (GRECO) (2000-2013) at the same University. More info at:
