La Salle-URL has hosted a new edition of Animation Fest, the annual event that marks the end of the academic year for the Bachelor's Degree in Animation & VFX. The event brings together students, alumni, faculty members, and animation industry professionals to recognize the year's outstanding projects and celebrate the emerging talent shaping the future of the industry.

Now in its ninth edition, the event has established itself as a key gathering for the Animation & VFX community, bringing together inspiration, recognition, and networking in a day dedicated to sharing experiences and projects. During the event, awards were presented to the best student projects completed throughout the academic year, highlighting the creativity, technical expertise, and potential of the next generation of audiovisual professionals.

This year's keynote speaker was Xavier Roig, an internationally renowned professional who has worked at some of the industry's most prestigious studios. Throughout his career, he has contributed to productions including Avatar, The Adventures of Tintin, The Mitchells vs. The Machines, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Garfield Movie, and the upcoming Avatar 3, among many others.
