Now in its ninth edition, the event has established itself as a key gathering for the Animation & VFX community, bringing together inspiration, recognition, and networking in a day dedicated to sharing experiences and projects. During the event, awards were presented to the best student projects completed throughout the academic year, highlighting the creativity, technical expertise, and potential of the next generation of audiovisual professionals.
This year's keynote speaker was Xavier Roig, an internationally renowned professional who has worked at some of the industry's most prestigious studios. Throughout his career, he has contributed to productions including Avatar, The Adventures of Tintin, The Mitchells vs. The Machines, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Garfield Movie, and the upcoming Avatar 3, among many others. His session gave students first-hand insight into the challenges, opportunities, and trends currently shaping the global animation and visual effects industry.
