Researcher in political history and economic history of Latin America. His work examines political press, public opinion and socio-economic transformations after independence. Author of Revolution in the Rio de la Plata (Liverpool University Press). Publications in Past & Present and Journal of World History. Former Fulford Junior Research Fellow and postdoctoral researcher at Oxford.
