La Salle-URL is taking part in Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026, one of the world’s leading international events for technology and audiovisual solutions. Under the theme “Push Beyond”, this year’s edition explores artificial intelligence, innovation, education, and digital security. Key highlights of ISE 2026 include the Cybersecurity Summit, the Listening Suites, and the EdTech Congress.

La Salle-URL will participate in several activities throughout the event:

  • Tech Tours: on February 2, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., professionals and companies from the audiovisual technology sector taking part in ISE 2026 will visit the IASlab, La Salle-URL's laboratory for transdisciplinary research and artistic creation. ISE offers all Congress participants the opportunity to take part in tours of leading technology institutions in Barcelona free of charge. IASlab is the first Tech Tour of the week.
  • Spark: from February 3 to 6, running in parallel with the main event, ISE organizes Spark, 'A new four-day showcase event dedicated to cross-vertical creative connectivity'. Felix Balbas, Director of the Degree in Animation & VFX, will deliver the talk 'What If? The Hidden Engine of Creativity, in AI Times' (February 4, 11:45 a.m.–12:40 p.m., Spark Main Stage – Hall 8.1).
  • Brooder Lab and Catalan Arts present 'Hilma af Klint. The Art of the Beyond'. The work will be exhibited in the immersive cube at the Generalitat de Catalunya stand during the fair. The immersive piece has been developed by four students from the Degree in Digital Arts.
  • Fast Forward Friday: on February 6, the students behind 'Hilma af Klint. The Art of the Beyond' will present the making-of of the immersive project exhibited at ISE (11:00 a.m., CC5.2 Auditorium).
  • Hackaton: taking place on February 6, this activity brings together students from several universities in Barcelona and other international institutions. Within this framework, ISE proposed three challenges focused on cybersecurity, innovation, and sustainability. Among the submitted proposals, ISE selected two teams of students from La Salle-URL, who took part in the cybersecurity and innovation challenges. Both teams will present their proposals at the Pitching Stage of the Innovation Park at the ISE Congress.
  • Internships: Engineering students from La Salle-URL will take part in the organization of ISE 2026, providing specialized technical support in IT systems, network infrastructures, and digital services.

Within the framework of this collaboration and through the various activities in which it takes part, the campus highlights at ISE 2026 its positioning as a leading university in technology, engineering and innovation.
