Universitat Ramon Llull, of which La Salle Campus Barcelona is a founding member, is the best university in Spain and the 24th in the world in the field of Business & Management according to the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2025, one of the most reputable and prestigious international rankings on higher education. La Salle-URL is one of the centers that offers studies in this field through the La Salle International Faculty of Commerce and Digital Economy (FICEDLS). On the other hand, of the studies offered at La Salle-URL, in the field of Marketing, URL has been ranked as the 1st in Spain and the 23rd in the world; and in the field of Social Sciences and Management, URL has improved its results from last year, ranking as the 3rd best in Spain and placing in the top 100 in the world out of 555 ranked institutions. This field includes fifteen different studies, including Management, Law, Politics, and Economics.
In this edition, the number of educational institutions ranked has increased from 1,500 to 1,700 compared to the previous one, and the number of participating countries has risen to 100. The ranking uses five criteria to generate the classifications: the results of more than 150,000 responses from a reputation survey to academics worldwide, and 99,000 responses from another reputation survey conducted with employers, the number of citations in scientific publications over a five-year period, and finally, the H-Index, which is based on the set of most-cited publications and the number of citations these have received in other scientific articles. Depending on the disciplines, the ranking assigns different weights to each of these indicators.
