Sónar +D, the international meeting point for art, science and digital culture at Sónar, presents its programme with a press conference hosted by the Interactive Arts & Science Laboratory (IASlab) (C/ Sant Joan de la Salle, 7, Barcelona), the campus laboratory that is a pioneer in Europe in transdisciplinary research and artistic creation. The event will take place on Tuesday 11 March at 10.30am and will feature representatives from Sónar+D who will detail the programme for the 13th edition of Sónar+D, which will be held on 12, 13 and 14 June in Barcelona.
On behalf of La Salle Campus Barcelona, the general director of the campus, Josep M. Santos, will give a brief institutional speech; and the director of Research and Innovation at La Salle Campus Barcelona, Rosa Ma. Alsina, will explain the particularities of the laboratories and spaces at IASlab.
Sónar+D goes beyond music, to explore shared spaces between creative industries, innovation and technology. With a three-day program fully integrated into Sónar by Day, Sónar+D includes talks, debates, radical performances and an interactive exhibition space.
