Allianz Technology, the global IT services provider of Allianz Group that leads the digitalization of the same, and La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull that integrates seven areas of knowledge, strengthen their collaborative relationship within the framework of the Partners La Salle-URL program and positions Allianz Technology as a strategic partner of La Salle Campus Barcelona.
The agreement between both institutions entails the creation of the Allianz Technology Scholarship – La Salle-URL Masters, designed to promote and support outstanding students who want to study a master's degree in areas related to technology and business, in which Allianz Technology is a strategic player, promoting their academic and professional development. In the first call, the scholarships will be allocated to the Master of Science in Big Data; the Master in Software Development and Architecture; the Master in SAP Functional Consulting; the Online Master in SAP Functional Consulting; and the Online Master of Science in Data Science.
The General Director of La Salle Campus Barcelona, Josep M. Santos, values this agreement: “This agreement allows us to continue training professionals in areas linked to technology and business, key sectors in today's world and in the future. In addition, doing so through a call for scholarships reinforces our mission of providing accessible quality education and consolidates our relationship with important business agents such as Allianz Technology.” For his part, Gerard Esparducer, Head of the Allianz Technology Hub in Spain, states: “Strengthening our collaboration with La Salle Campus Barcelona reinforces our commitment to innovation and the development of talent in key areas such as technology and business. This agreement allows us to connect with an academic and entrepreneurial ecosystem that drives progress and prepares the leaders of the future.”
With this agreement, Allianz strengthens its relationship with La Salle Campus Barcelona and connects with the campus ecosystem to promote initiatives that allow students, teachers, researchers, startups and networks to actively participate. Allianz is also a member of the Corporate Board Council, the campus business council that works to promote the development of entrepreneurship and economic-social cooperation.
