Jaume Cullell Fernàndez

JAUME CULLELL is an illustrator specializing in high-quality character design and studio caricature, with advanced mastery of digital painting and a solid foundation in traditional drawing techniques. He holds a Master´s in 2D Animation Production and Direction and a Degree as a 2D Animation Technician from the Centro de Estudios de Técnicas de Animación de Cataluña. He has over fifteen years of experience in the advertising and TV series production sectors. A key professional milestone is his 2021 cover for the prestigious Bloomberg Businessweek magazine.
Since 2021, he has been a lecturer at La Salle Campus Barcelona - Universitat Ramon Llull, teaching Concept Art, Digital Painting, and Creature Design. Previously (2016-2022), he was a lecturer at L´IDEM Barcelona. He is currently developing Earth Heroes, a comic book project aimed at promoting renewable energy and environmentalism.
His career includes developing Concept Art for international theme parks with firms such as Scruffy Dog and Immersive Planet. In the audiovisual field, he has worked on TV series such as "Four Friends and a Half" and "Sea Princesses" as a design supervisor and color stylist. He has also created illustrations for major brands including Vueling, Iberia, Panrico, and Whisky DYC.
His profile combines high-level professional practice with intense institutional work as a founding member of the Asociación Española de Caricaturistas (2013), where he served as secretary until 2021. He has also participated in international exhibitions such as Oscartoon Expres in Rio de Janeiro and Caricatoras in Madrid.
