The research line in Blended Network Architectures (BNA) aims to conceptualize reliable paradigms for network architectures, primarily concentrating on exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies within the Internet of Everything framework.
Given the global societal challenges and the emergence of new application fields such as Smart Cities, eNature, eHealth, and Industry 4.0, there is a need for innovative communication protocols and architectures that can deliver optimal performance under various constraints like bandwidth, coverage, and energy sources.
This research addresses crucial issues of resilience, sustainability, reliability, privacy, and (cyber)security, regardless of the nature of the community, whether composed of living creatures or inanimate things.
