Maryam Vaziri received her Ph.D. in International Entrepreneurship and Management from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain, in 2021, with an outstanding distinction. She also completed an international research stay at the University of Vienna in 2020. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Research in Economy and Business and a Practical Master’s degree in International Business Management from UAB, as well as an MBA in Marketing from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India. She is currently a full-time Assistant Professor at La Salle Campus Barcelona – Universitat Ramon Llull and a researcher within the Smart Society Research Group. Her academic activities include teaching, coordination, and supervision of final degree projects. Her research focuses on consumer behavior in digital environments, branding, sustainability, and generative AI adoption in SMEs. Her work has been published in journals such as Administrative Sciences, Sustainable Development, Spanish Journal of Marketing – ESIC, PLOS ONE, and Journal of Open Innovation, and presented at international conferences including Global Brand Conference, ENTER eTourism, and AEMARK.
