Kerem Gurses

Dr. Kerem Gurses holds a Ph.D. in Management from IESE Business School and an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology. He specializes in industry change, particularly how industry practices and technologies change through firm corporate political strategies. He is the author of many academic articles on this topic, and has presented his research at annual conferences such as the Academy of Management, and the Strategic Management Society conferences in the USA, and the European Group of Organizational Studies conferences in Europe. He is an active member of several academic associations related to strategic management and frequently reviews for academic journals. Dr. Kerem Gurses has also done consulting and project work for food and aerospace industries.

Teaching
Full-time associate professor at La Salle Campus Barcelona – Ramon Llull University since 2019, teaching in the field of strategic management, organization theory, and international business at various levels, from undergraduate to doctorate. Taught organization theory and design courses at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome between 2015-2019.
Research
His research focuses on corporate political strategies and how organizations deal with regulation. Member of the research group of CLIO (Luiss Guido Carli University), GREITM (La Salle) and Smart Society (La Salle)
