MISSION

The mission of our Faculty of Philosophy is to educate people who know their roots and are projected towards the world around us, professionals who can offer value to education, business, cultural institutions, public administration and research, who are willing to build an integrally human society

We accompany our students in the responsible and committed exercise of reflection and professional activity, in a context of accelerated change where tradition, social transformation, interculturality, and scientific and technical innovation intersect.

VISION

We aspire to develop, in a network with centers around the world, a Philosophy and Humanities of excellence that, while being active heirs of classical culture and Christian thought, are open to a global, diverse, bold and complex view of reality.

We want to promote interdisciplinarity and transversality from a campus of reference, internationally accredited, so as to help people grow thanks to their critical thinking, their humanistic values, and their commitment to a contemporary society characterized by technology, sustainability and the search for meaning.

VALUES

The person in society and in reality. The FFLS partakes in the Lasallian values, which place the person at the center and as an end of their activity, both in their individual, and communitarian and collective dimensions, linking them to reality in all its dimensions.

Therefore, we are guided concretely by faith, fraternity, and the spirit of service. This first triad must unfold into two more: on the one hand, rooting, openness and projection; on the other, transversality, multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity. Common to all these elements, giving them impetus from within, are passion and intelligence, rigor and creativity.
