The Master’s Degree in Project Management at La Salle-URL rated among the 25 best programmes according to the FSO Ranking

The Master's Degree in Project Management at La Salle-URL has been named the eleventh best in the Online Higher Education Ranking (FSO), and stands out as the only Project Management programme in the entire list. This initiative, first published in 2015, evaluates the top 25 Spanish-speaking institutions offering online master's degrees in Business Administration and Management. The study focused on the Latin American, U.S. and Spanish regions and uses three objective indicators to rank all participating institutions, including the institution, actors and training. The FSO ranking rates more than 100 universities and institutions of higher education each year and the top 25 are then published

A master's degree that has been in existence for over 20 years

The Master’s Degree in Project Management is an internationally recognised programme that has already trained more than 4,000 project managers worldwide, and is GAC accredited by the PMI (one of just nine accredited universities across Europe). This programme enables students to head up multidisciplinary projects, take on responsibilities and think creatively to analyse and solve situations in uncertain environments, as well as to acquire experience and to develop competences and abilities in group projects.

This year, the Master's is 20 years old and at La Salle-URL, we wanted to celebrate it in style, with workshops, conferences and open classes. On 14 November, the cycle of events was inaugurated with Project Management Beyond 2020, a gala that included a round table discussion with Xavier Albaladejo and Laurentiu Neamtu, leading experts in the project management field, and a face-to-face interview between two of the great gurus of the profession worldwide, Dr David Hillson ("The Risk Doctor") and Alfonso Bucero.

The programme of events will be topped off with two open classes in February, “Innovation Management” with Jerry Engel, and April, “Project Management and Change Management” with Alfonso Bucero next year; a breakfast session on Innovation Project Management in the digital age and a closing ceremony in June.
