The transformation carried out by humans in the landscape has taken place for urban planning reasons, creating agricultural land, hygienic reasons, generation of transport or energy infrastructures, etc. But it has never been driven by the suppression of the noise generated by humans themselves in these actions.
Noise must be suppressed at the source, otherwise scars are created leaving their mark on local territory. Are acoustic screens or other measures sufficient to isolate us from noise?
Acoustic shielding measures are only subtle, but there are disproportionate ones, and some are even commissioned to prestigious design teams to make them more attractive. It is also true that in certain cases filters appear to smooth this situation, and in some cases we can even find connectors for those sounds that we consider as positive.
In this masterclass Francesc Daumal i Domènech will talk about:
-
Evolution of the transformation of the territory over time.
-
Noise impact factors/aspects
-
Actions and measures that can be taken to prevent or reduce noise.
Don't miss this masterclass with one of the leading architects in Architectural and Environmental Acoustics to learn about different actions and measures to prevent noise.
