- Full-time lecturer at La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull since 2000, teaching in the field of mathematics applied to engineering (Calculus, Algebra, Mathematical Analysis, Statistics), signal processing (Digital Signal Processing, Signals and Transmission Systems) and image processing (Digital Image Processing). He has supervised more than 50 Bachelor´s and Master´s Final Projects.

- Coordinator of the research line in Computer Vision within the Human-Environment Research (HER) group at La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull.
- His research focuses on computer vision, artificial intelligence, and statistical data analysis, and their application to help answer fundamental questions in the fields of biology and medicine.
- Author or co-author of more than 60 publications in journals and international conferences.
- Has participated in and led multiple research and technology transfer projects funded by entities such as the European Union, the Ministry of Science, Universities and Innovation, the University and Research Grants Agency, and the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation.
- In 2011, Visiting Researcher in the Multimedia and Vision Research Group at Queen Mary University of London.
