Vicenç Joan Huguet Paradell

My name is Vicenç Huguet. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the UAB and a master’s degree in Marketing from the UPF. I’ve been working in marketing since 2004. At that time, SEO and email marketing were already in use, but you could say it was the “Pleistocene era” of the digital world, since social media wouldn’t really take off for another three years. Throughout my career, I have committed to continuous professional development, training through various courses and also teaching myself to adapt to different changes: the shift from Dreamweaver to WordPress, the demise of Flash, the growing importance of SEO, the emergence of Facebook, the migration to Instagram, the rise and fall of Twitter, and, more recently, the explosion of TikTok with all that it entails, as well as the current dominance of Artificial Intelligence, which is a powerful tool for us marketers.
I have managed and continue to manage communications for various clients across diverse areas of advertising. From large companies like Danone or ABC to smaller firms such as Uniforme Vallès or Pérez-Llopis Advocats. With all these companies, I have applied the same principle: to make their communication my own in order to deliver the highest possible quality.
As for my training experience, I’ve been teaching since 2012. I started with a QR code course for people with little digital knowledge. Since then, I’ve taught courses on SEO, Digital Marketing, Web Analytics, Social Media, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, AI, and Communication, among others. For me, teaching is highly rewarding because it gives me the chance to explore a variety of scenarios and help students grow and, above all, to motivate them to find their own path to personal growth as communication professionals.
Beyond that, I contribute to Onda Cero radio on a segment where we discuss digital life how social media, apps, AI, and the digital world as a whole impact our daily lives.
