Professor

PhD in Contemporary History. He has been Mayor of Figueres, Member of the Parliament of Catalonia, and Counselor in the Government of Catalonia. He has also worked as a professor at La Salle School in Figueres and in the Faculties of Arts and Business and Economics at the University of Girona.

He has published several scientific and outreach articles on Catholic integralism in Catalonia. His work ¿Elogio de la memoria¿ (In Praise of Memory) was recognized in the 2024 October Awards, winning the Joan Fuster Essay Prize. He has also been a columnist for the weekly Hora Nueva and has contributed opinion articles and participated in radio discussions in various media outlets.

Currently, he is General Director of Aigües de Banyoles and President of the Círculo de Infraestructuras Foundation. He is also an opinion columnist for La Vanguardia and President of the Infrastructure Advisory Committee of Catalonia.
