Dr. Osvaldo Jiménez Farías is a physicist with a PhD in Quantum Optics, specialized in the theoretical and experimental control of light for quantum information processing. He obtained his degree from UNAM and completed his PhD at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He subsequently held postdoctoral positions at the Brazilian Center for Physics Research, La Sapienza University (Rome), and ICFO (Barcelona). He is currently a professor at Ramon Llull University ¿ La Salle, where he combines teaching with research, and is the founder of the Quantum Technologies Observatory.
