Míriam Calvo Gómez

Míriam Calvo Gómez is currently a member of the Smart Society research group at La Salle, University Ramon Llull (URL), and member of the LHCb Collaboration since 2002, one of the outstanding High Energy Physics experiments at CERN. She obtained the degree in Physics in 2001 and the PhD in Physics in 2006, both at the University of Barcelona, where she got a FPU grant to do the thesis in the LHCb experiment. Then, she got a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral grant at La Salle-URL and since 2011, she have been a researcher at La Salle. She is currently the head of the research line devoted to the LHCb experiment within the Smart Society group, and Principal Investigator (PI) of the project related to LHCb at the URL funded by the Spanish Ministry. She obtained the position ¿Titular de Universidad¿ in April 2024.
Míriam Calvo has more than 700 publications in peer-reviewed journals and three six-year research periods (2004-2011, 2012-2017, 2018-2023) recognised by the AQU (Agència per a la Qualitat del sistema Universitari de Catalunya), and the advanced research accreditation (investigación avanzada). She also collaborates in other research projects of the Smart Society group, focused on solving problems of data science and artificial intelligence.
