Teaching activity


Having been a teacher in the field of MEP since 2002 he has shared his knowledge of the trade in different schools: at the Escola de Disseny BAU school in Barcelona from 2002 to 2016 and at the ESARQ-UIC university from 2009 until 2021. In 2019 he joined the teaching team of the ETSALS under the guidance of Amaya Arizmendi. He has been a teacher in different subjects in both undergraduate and Master’s courses of the Energy and MEP Department.

Professional activity


His architectural studio focuses its activities on the rehabilitation and enhancement of existing buildings with a strong focus on energy efficiency and heritage conservation.  Positively convinced that in the field of architecture authorship is a matter of secondary importance, Samaranch+Gallen arquitectura always favour collaboration with other professionals to ensure the results required by the social responsibility that the profession entails.
