Marta Bugés holds a Master¿s degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB, UPC). She has participated in international research projects with institutions such as TU Wien, Tsinghua University, Keio University and Universitat Ramon Llull. She has collaborated with diverse agents¿including studios (trescientosmil, Noumena, LAMÁQUINA), media (urbanNext, CitiesToBe), foundations (Manifesta), and public administrations (Barcelona Infraestructures Municipals SA)¿to disseminate architectural and urban knowledge. She currently works at the Internet of Things Institute of Catalonia (IOTICAT) within the Architectural Logics for Emergent Contexts (ALEC) research group. She is co-editor of Cohousing in Barcelona (Actar & Ajuntament de Barcelona, 2023), Cultural Praxis for a Transmedia Architecture (Actar & LaSalle, 2024) and Social Transformation for an Inclusive Architecture (Actar & LaSalle, 2025) and editor of 20 mirades sobre Barcelona (Ajuntament de Barcelona, 2025).
