Magdalena Ostornol is an Architect, graduated from the Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile and holds a Master´s Degree in Light Façades from the University of the Basque Country EPV-EHU.
She specialises in advising various architects, engineering and industrial companies on the development of components or construction systems for façade systems.
Her work as an envelope specialist began in the b720 Arquitectos studio, where she has been collaborating since 2001, becoming an associate architect. Within the team, she plays a transversal role in various projects as an envelope specialist.
Between 2007 and 2011, she joined the Architecture and Building Engineering team at Idom ACXT, developing the façade consultancy area.
In 2012, he co-founded SKIN, an independent consultancy specialising in façade projects, working on all stages of various international projects from design to construction. In 2020, SKIN became MIA - Meta Industrial Architectures, where it is currently active.
